Enjoy an excursion by a traditional felucca around Elephantine Island, the largest of the islands in the area, and is one of the most ancient sites in all of Egypt. This island has several attractions of its own. One of these is the Nilometer, a station that measures the water levels of the Nile. The other main attraction on the island is Temple of Khnum. Next, the felucca go around Aga Khan Mausoleum, an elegant pink granite structure built in the late 1950's. The entrance to the mausoleum requires a hard climb on a stepped path. Back to the embarkation point, then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
